Conditions will be very testing this afternoon at all jump meetings. The Chepstow going stick is 3.3, I can’t recall a reading so low and for that reason, we’ve taken out Broughtons Admiral who was due to run there.

Excellent racing despite testing ground. The National fences are in action at Aintree, Tingle Creek day at Sandown but not Altior who came out last night. Crowds will also return which is great.

From a betting point of view, the form book can go out the window in such conditions.

I’ve had one bet in the 12:20 at Aintree, Nestor Park.

Nestor Park lost his way last season but returned to form on seasonal debut with a good second at Newbury over 2m4f. The more galloping track of Aintree will suit, and soft ground is no bother. Nestor Park is also well in, won off a higher rating.

The yard is in good form and if improving from a fitness point of view on Newbury, Nestor Park should run a decent race if backing his previous effort up. 13-2 EW looks ok.
