A really good day of racing on offer this afternoon, we have the Tingle Creek at Sandown whilst the Beecher Chase at Aintree always makes good viewing.

We’re at Sandown with Ebony Express who runs in the Listed hurdle at 2:25. This is another highly competitive race but this is the level Ebony is running at now. With regular pilot Will Kennedy riding at Aintree a new jockey was required for today.

Charlie Hammond comes in for the ride and takes 10lb off with his claim, Charlie is a good young lad and works at Dr Newland’s yard. He knows Ebony well but this will be a big test for Charlie as he’s never ridden in such a high profile race. However we have a lot of faith in him and I’m sure Charlie will give Ebony every chance back at the scene of his Imperial Cup win.
