Dame De Ruban ran a super race yesterday, finishing 3^rd whilst giving 20lb to the winner and 22lb to the second. It was just about mission impossible from a winning point of view, but Dame never stopped galloping and will be a cracking staying chaser in time.

Flash De Clerval makes his seasonal debut and chasing debut at Sedgefield in the 2:50.

Flash runs for the first time for Harry Whittington, we’re looking to get back on track after ironing out some issues. Flash will improve plenty for the run whilst the trip of 2m3f is a question mark from a staying point of view.

It’s a fair starting point though and hopefully Flash De Clerval can show some of the ability we know he has.
