We had a fantastic day and evening on Wednesday, two runners and two winners.
Pisagh Pike bolted up at Hexham by 13 lengths, Nikolayeva then followed up on her Catterick win a few days before to win again at Wolverhampton. It was a great day for the owners with some involved in both horses.
Eva and Pike were our only two runners this week, the wins keep the excellent run were on at the moment going. 15 winners now for the year.
Good racing today but the soft ground will once again play a big part.
Monsoon Moon is an interesting runner in the 1:20 at Ascot. A half sister to Logician and apparently held in some regard. The betting is speaking in her favour.
Khaloosy, 1:45 Haydock was very impressive when winning at Royal Ascot. His next run can be ruled out as it came at Goodwood on quick ground. The going at Haydock will be heavy, Khaloosy should have good chance as any handling the surface, was soft when winning at Ascot.
I think Khaloosy will turn the form round with My Oberon and Stormy Antarctic could be the main danger.
