We had a great night at Newmarket, just having a runner at HQ is super, a winner is fantastic. Mountain Rescue bolted up under James Doyle.

Last night was the first time Mountain Rescue had everything drop right this season. We’ve always known he’s smart and this showed with a classy performance. The race was the quickest on the night furlong to furlong, the splits make for very good reading.

Mountain Rescue has earned a go at a big pot now, possibly at the Doncaster St Leger meeting. He’s given his owners some splendid days out and will continue to do so.

It’s been a grand 24 hours with two winners.

As for racing today, I was very taken by Love Dreams a couple of weeks ago and think he can go in again. 6-4 is available. 4:25 Newmarket.
