Two runners on Derby day, Worcester and Hexham.

We've struggled to find races for Yes No Maybe So who runs in the first at Worcester and makes his chasing debut. It gets to a point where you have to run, so he does today. The trip will be very much on the sharp side for our horse.

It's over £600 for fourth place and anything better than that will help pay for the journey and run. The experience won't be lost on him.

All the way up at Hexham, Saramenha makes her hurdling debut in the first Juvenile hurdle race of the season. As Summer juvenile's go, this looks a warm one. Normally this Hexham race is poor, but not this time around.

You never know what will happen in these races, young horses can school great at home but once a confronted with something to jump in a big open space, it can be fun and games.

We purchased Sara for jumping, she's done plenty of work but has a fair to chunk to find with some of these based on flat form. What better place to start at tough, scenic Hexham on a sunny warm day.

As for the Derby, it's likely a clue that O'Brien only runs Bolshoi Ballet and not his normal six or seven runners.
Group One Power should go well in the 5:15 whilst Shamardalah will come good at some point, 7:15 Lingfield. If it's today no idea but he's one to keep with.
