We have a runner at Market Rasen this afternoon, this is the last jumps meeting for over a week as a National Hunt break starts from tomorrow.

Irska runs in the 1:50, Gavin Sheehan rides.

Irska is a nice young horse for the future, he’s going to be a long-distance staying chaser on soft ground. Irska is bred for a trip, his relatives ran in the likes of the Welsh & Scottish National plus the 4 miler at the Cheltenham Festival.

Two miles around a sharp track like Market Rasen isn’t quite what Irska requires, we can’t run in such races as the above yet and need get our experience somewhere. We like Irska, he'll be a lot of fun once he's grown and matured into his big frame.
