A good result and perfect outcome for the owners of Milrow at Stratford yesterday. Milrow won the selling hurdle and was purchased in the auction after the race for £8000. We protected Milrow to £7500.

We wish his new trainer, Sophie Leech all the best with Milrow.

It was a case of job done for the Milrow syndicate. He’s been a brilliant horse for us, 3 wins, a good few places and 15k in prize money. We purchased him for little money in the scheme of things, Milrow has paid that back and more.

It’s always sad to see a horse go you get attached to. It was good business for owners though and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way. With the prize money and sale of Milrow, we have funds to find a replacement horse and start the fun once again.

Milrow was our 6^th win of the year.

I’m not playing at Goodwood today, I’ve not had much time as we have another runner this evening. Dubka highlighted yesterday went close to been a nice priced winner, nailed in the last stride at 13-2.

We’re off to Newmarket this evening with Mountain Rescue and a pop concert after racing.

Mountain Rescue was an excellent 2^nd 13 days ago at Newmarket, he bumped into a future Group horse on the day. Conditions will be very different tonight, the going was heavy the other week. Mountain Rescue is fine on good ground but handles bad ground when others don’t.

James Doyle rides, James won on MR at Kempton last year for us. I’m sure Mountain Rescue will run his normal game race, he gives everything on each start.
