We have a runner this evening at Wolverhampton where Mountain Rescue takes his chance in the 8:50.

We drop Mountain Rescue down in trip as we couldn’t find any suitable 10 furlong races. Mountain Rescue is a horse that likes to get on with things, the faster pace of a one-mile race should help him settle. However, it’s possible he might not have the pace for a sprint finish over the shorter distance, we’ll find that out around 8:55 this evening.

Divisionist, trained by Sir Michael Stoute looks the horse to beat. It’s frustrating the race is open to 3yo horses as you can meet something that’s just far better than the class of the race.

Divisionist looked smart when 2nd at Wolverhampton back in April. Next time the horse went off at odds of 8-11 and was expected to win nicely but for whatever reason didn’t give his running. We’ve not seen him 77 days but no doubt his powerful connections will have got him back on track.

Taking out Divisionist the race looks pretty open with all horses holding chances on their best form. Hopefully Mountain Rescue runs his normal consistent race and gives us another solid run.
