Dino Mite ran another very game race for us on Sunday and got her owners in the winner’s enclosure again. Dino finished 4th in a good 0-130 handicap but would have likely been 3rd in another few strides.
This would have been the quickest Dino Mite has ever had to race and jump but she pinged the majority of hurdles and made just the one error down the back.
She was taken off her feet for the first circuit as the pace was frantic, as normal though she never stopped trying to reel in the leaders and made up loads of ground in the final furlongs. The winning post just came a bit early.
Dino has now raced 8 times since we purchased her last year and has never finished out of the prize money on each start. She’s a wonderful honest horse that keeps paying for herself and will be a smashing broodmare in time
