Rhythm Star our unbeaten mare goes back to trainer Jamie Snowden’s yard tomorrow after a lovely holiday at Broadwell Stud where she was born. Star has grown again over the past few months and looks a picture, she’s going to be a really chunky strong girl who will hopefully give syndicate members a lot of fun in the 2014 / 2015 jump season.

No horse racing selections today but as mentioned on Wednesday I do like the chances of Colombia beating Brazil this evening. I just hope the referee is fair and doesn’t favour the home nation. 15-8 On Colombia just to qualify for the next round is a bit of value whilst I think France will beat Germany in the other game.

France to qualify looks tempting at even money whilst the price of 9-5 in 90mins also appeals.

I’ve placed a sneaky double on Colombia & France both to make the next round and a few quid on France.

There will be no update tomorrow as were at Dr Newland’s yard watching our new horse Grand Maestro work.
