Anthony Van Dyck was the winner of the Epsom Derby, less than a length separated the first five home. With so many horses finishing so close to the winner, it perhaps suggests this year’s renewal wasn’t a vintage one. Time will tell but I’d be surprised if a star comes out of the race.

We head to Southwell today with Included who runs in the 4:15.

Included gave her owners a great day out at Aintree last month when winning a decent mares’ race on seasonal debut. Just the six runners take their chance but this is another good race.

Late Night Lily would have gone very close last time if not for falling two out. She’s well handicapped on her best form. Included will be jumping a fence after today, hopefully she can run well again.
