It’s been a super week, Dibble Decker and Only The Bold gave us a double on Monday. We then nearly made it three from three, Twistaline was beaten in a photo at Kempton on Wednesday.

Yesterday at the Tattersalls sales, we completed our summer team with the purchase of Logistical who will go down the juvenile hurdle route. His first race will be Aintree in June.

Fantastic racing today, Musselburgh holds a very strong card of racing as does Sandown. Perhaps most eyes will be over the water at Leopardstown with the first day of the Dublin Racing Festival.

The fixture is like a mini-Cheltenham with many of the best Irish horses meeting one another. No doubt, following Willie Mullins over the next 24 hours will pay it’s way.

At Lingfield, the 3:01 is a cracking race, Manaafith is improving all the time and should go well.

Like a lot of people, I backed Grivetana last time out, she was backed as defeat was out of the question. We soon learned our fate though as Grivetana got bogged down in the mud.

Paul Nicholls now sends Grivetana to Musselburgh and that looks significant, no doubt in search of the better ground. Grivetana has been well supported again and could make amends in the 3:16.

With so much going on, the TV remote will be taking a hammering.
