First runner of the year this afternoon, Twistaline makes her debut for owners in the 2:35 at Lingfield.

Twistaline was a cheap purchase from the Tatts sales in October. She hasn't won a race yet but is consistent at her level. She's an honest filly that tries hard but it's fair to say isn't a superstar. There are some small races to be won with her.

Today's race sees horses making handicap debuts that cost a few quid and come from big yards. If the step up in trip suits a few of these or they now run as per the price tag, it's likely we might see a different type of performance from something. Perhaps the betting will reveal all?
