Carlisle has amazingly missed the many inches of snow that's fallen in Cumbria, this means Askmore will make his hurdles debut in the 1:05.

Askmore is a big, strong horse that will be seen at his best over three miles and a fence next season on deep ground. He's not very quick but relentless. If this race will be enough of a test for him, we'll have to wait and see.

The experience won't be lost on Askmore that's for sure, and hopefully he can run a nice race.
