We have two runners today under both codes. First to run is Sea The Clouds making his seasonal debut at Stratford in the 5:19. Cairn Grom then runs in the last race at Ascot just over 10 minutes later.

Sea The Clouds makes his seasonal debut after a nice holiday. Sea The Clouds ran well in three bumper races last season. This race will blow the cobwebs away and set him up for the season ahead.

Iceman Dennis holds the best form, his Newcastle second place effort was smart but for whatever reason wasn't repeated. Giving him 7lbs and if back to his best would be tough. Sea The Clouds jumps very well and will be making his hurdles debut after today.

Not sure on the draw for Cairn Gorm whilst we could do with a heavy shower. The ground will be drying all the time at Ascot which wouldn't suit. There looks to be a fair bit of pace on, Cairn Gorm's last furlong will be his best, if he can stay in touch, should finish his race off well providing the ground isn't riding quick.

Act Of Will 2:51 at Thirsk is overpriced if you can forgive his run last week. On the AW at Kempton, First View in the 2:40 loves it around here. Course form of 112, he should run a solid race.
