After a rather mundane week we’re spoilt for choice today with some very good racing at Haydock and Ascot.

If Limato is still cherry ripe after his solid 2nd in the Nunthorpe he should take some pegging back in the 4:30, the Sprint Cup Stakes.

A lot of rain is forecast later today, if the wet stuff does arrive Haydock can turn soft quickly. This would bring Quiet Reflection into the mix. I would suggest you hold fire with any bets until nearer the off and see what the weather is doing.

Staying at Haydock Hathal is expected to go well in the 3:00 despite not been seen for the best part of a year. 5-1 EW looks ok.

We have a runner on Sunday at Fontwell, Milrow who goes in the 2:50.

We’ve given Milrow an easy time of things after his 6th place at Market Rasen. We're fairly sure the race came a bit quick. Six horses take their chance with Diable De Sivola and Nachi Falls setting a high standard.

Diable De Sivola looks useful, the form of his debut win at Uttoxeter is the strongest Juvenile form of the Summer so far. Trained by Nick Williams, Diable De Sivola had Nachi Falls back in 3rd place and Hygrove Percy in 2nd, both horses have won nicely since. This was also Diable De Sivola debut outing and he’ll have improved for the run. Diable De Sivola could be hard to beat, Lizzie Kelly takes 5lb off so Milrow has to give away 5lbs.

Nachi Falls improved for his 3rd place when behind Diable De Sivola and won next time out. The horse that came 3rd and 7 lengths behind was Recognition. Recognition beat Milrow on our 2nd start.

This looks one of the best Juvenile races of the Summer so far, Milrow will have to find more but we’ll give It a go.
