There will be no update on Saturday as we have a stable morning at Rebecca Menzies to see Nastasiya and Dame De Ruban. It's then off to Musselburgh in the afternoon, with Sampers Seven who runs in the 50k sprint. The race might come a bit quick, but it’s worth a go with the money on offer.

Before all of that, Kotyonok has his second run at Doncaster tonight in the 8:26. This is a very good race that will likely have future Listed / Group horses come out of it. Kotyonok is still very green and a project, he works fine at home and has a future. This will be further down the line in handicaps.

The Epsom Derby meeting starts today, centre stage is for the girls and the Oaks at 4:30. John Gosden looks to hold the aces, with Emily Upjohn and Nashwa first and second in the betting.

If handling the ground, With The Moonlight might be a bit of value at 14-1 for an EW place.

Elsewhere, Zenga 5:55 Goodwood has come on a bundle for her first outing I hear, as has Indemnify 5:33 Doncaster.

In the Epsom Derby on Saturday, I’m hoping we might see something a bit special from Desert Crown, who looks very good indeed.
