We have two runners today, one over jumps and a flat runner.

Pisgah Pike is up first in the 4:15 at Hexham. Pisgah Pike ran well last time out when finishing 2^nd at Market Rasen. The better ground and a wind op helped. We’ve had to wait for some nice ground again and it comes on a track that might not be ideal for PP. Undulations and stiff climb.

Unless something is lurking that hasn’t played it’s hand, one of the top three in the betting looks the likely winner.

Nikolayeva runs quickly after her impressive win at Catterick on heavy ground last week. Eva has to go again as she’s going up 8lbs. We would have preferred to run on turf and some soft ground, but this was the only option.

Hopefully, Nikolayeva can go well but back on the AW, it is a leveller. All horses in the race will handle the surface unlike they did at Catterick.
