We’re off to Market Rasen today with Dino Mite who makes her handicap hurdles debut in the 4:05. The race is the most valuable on the card, a 0-130 over two miles two furlongs, Micheal Nolan rides.

We made a late U turn and decided to take our chance in this due to the good prize money on offer. Going back over hurdles after chasing debut is not really the norm but the next possible chase for Dino Mite isn’t until back end of the month.

The Micky Hammond trained Russian Royale will be the likely favourite for the race, she’s in cracking form and looks nicely handicapped whist carries over a stone less than Dino Mite.

Poetic Verse trained by the shrewd John Quinn has been running well on the flat and returns to hurdles off a decent looking mark whist Downtown Boy & Gurkha Brave are both consistent types and look sure to give their running.

The race is going to take a bit of winning and likely ran at a frantic pace.

Dino Mite will give her all though as she always does for her owners, whilst it’s nice going back to Market Rasen after our big Summer Hurdle win a few weeks ago.
