Ebony Express makes his comeback this afternoon in the 4:05 at Uttoxeter.

Ebony Express won the Imperial Cup for us in 2015, beating the likes of Thistlecrack, Rayvin Black, Camping Ground & Wicklow Brave. Unfortunately, Ebony wasn’t the same horse after his big win and was found to have a tendon strain.

We’ve given Ebony Express plenty of time and the normal treatment of a year out in the field. Since coming back into training, Ebony has been sound and done everything asked of him. Today’s outing is very much a case of see how we go.

Ebony will improve for the run and we need to see if his ability and willingness is still intact. We can't wait to see him again.
