Barry Geraghty won’t be riding at the Cheltenham Festival due to breaking 6 ribs in a tumble the other day. The sick list seems to be growing for this year’s festival, not only do we have some of the top horses missing but jockeys too. Noel Fehily has been rumoured to be the benefactor of Geraghty’s absence, nothing has been confirmed yet though.

Many of the bookies are now doing the none runner no bet offer for the Festival. This is very useful for the handicap races where horses are still entered in numerous races. It’s well worth taking a punt on a horse that connections are saying will run in a certain race but is still entered in something else at bigger odds. There will be plenty of twists and turns between now and race day.
