Happy New Year to you. I hope 2021 has got off to a good start, and it's a great year for all.

I was really pleased with our results in 2020.

In total, we had 97 runners. 17 of these were winners, 15 seconds, 10 thirds and 11 fourth placed. 44 finished out of the winner' enclosure. £118,752 of prize money was won.

To have over 50% of all runners finish in winners enclosure is a great achievement. I'll be working very hard with our trainers to make sure we have another very good year.

I've not had any bets today, did have a fancy at Ayr but that has been abandoned due to frost.

I hope you might have noticed Roman De Senam running at Musselburgh yesterday. I mentioned him at Cheltenham a few weeks ago. Roman De Senam was brought down at the 5th but bolted up yesterday at 13-2 by twelve lengths.

Last week I purchased Teescomponentslass in a private deal for £25,000.

Teescomponentslass is a 5yo mare that stands at a big 16.2h. She's by champion jumps sire  Presenting, his progeny includes Gold Cup winner Denman.

Teescomponentslass is a full sister to, Dance Of Time who won two bumpers and eight races. Half-sister to three winners that include, Teescomponents Lad, 130 rated and winner of his last race in November. Teescomponentsyess, who won a bumper on debut for John Hanlon in Ireland two weeks ago. Our new recruit has run once so far at Ayr on the 11th of November.

Teescomponentslass finished 2^nd beaten half a length in what looked a good bumper with plenty of expensive horses in behind. Tom Lacey who will be the trainer, had a runner in the same race, Lagonda who finished 4^th. Tom rates his mare highly. Lagonda has run again finishing 2^nd in another bumper, she was 16 lengths clear of the third placed horse. The winner was an Irish raider that is now been aimed at the Cheltenham Champion Bumper.

Teescomponentslass is at the pre-training yard and will move to Tom Lacey's on Friday. We'll crack on with her and look to run in another bumper towards the end of January. She's proven she handles heavy ground and will get even better with age being out of Presenting.

Teescomponentslass is a smart horse for now and the future. The mares program book is excellent with big prize money on offer. I'd be confident we can win a bumper before going jumping. With her lofty size, chasing would be the long-term goal, there wouldn't be too many mares around with her scope and frame.

There are 20 shares available in Teescomponentslass on a first come, first served basis. Price per share is £2000.
