We’re off to Huntingdon today with Kenobe Star who makes his hurdle debut in what looks a decent Juvenile Hurdle. Kenobe Star was purchased cheaply as an unraced 3yo, he’s nicely bred and has a profile of a horse that could run on the flat then go jumping at a later stage.

Unfortunately we had to abandoned the flat after just two runs, this was due to Kenobe Star not liking firm ground. His dam is a horse called Maimana who required ground like a bog, it seems Kenobe has inherited all of his mum’s characteristics.

KS has taken to jumping nicely and seems to really enjoy getting off the floor, he’s not the quickest horse at home and will improve with todays experienced under his belt. We’re just looking for a nice clear round and for the horse to enjoy his first start over hurdles.
