A shorter post today as I don’t have much time this afternoon.
Bonne Fee 2:05 Bangor deserves to get her head in front after a string of consistent efforts. This race looks winnable, a repeat effort of her last couple of runs should be good enough to break the maiden tag.
I can’t resist placing a few quid EW on Fort Bastion who lines up in the 3:05 at Goodwood.
Fort Bastion was also a selection last weekend at huge odds of 50-1, the horse ran a cracking race finishing 8th beaten just 4 lengths and met trouble in running, with a clear run likely would have been placed.
The return to a mile will help this Ruth Carr trained gelding whilst he races off a 2lb lower mark than last weekend, regular pilot James Sullivan also takes over.
The race is obviously going to take a lot of winning plus luck in running will be required, however with decent odds available Fort Bastion looks a sporting selection EW at 16-1.
