It was a really busy few days over the weekend but enjoyable, the stable morning at Dr Newlands was great fun whilst it was good to meet many of the new owners. Milrow & Trafalgar Rock are both around three weeks off their debut runs for us.

Gran Maestro ran a sound race at Ffos Las to finish 2nd, the plan this season with Granny was to go chasing after a couple of starts and that’s the route Gran Maestro will now take. Kenobe Star did his best but was given a crazy handicap rating over hurdles and on the flat, he needs some help from the handicapper.

Follow over the cliff horse Fort Bation runs again today in the 3:30 at Nottingham. He ran ran really well the other week at York but missed the break by 5 lengths and that cost him a place at worst. Fort Bastion has won one in his last 26 races but is more than capable of getting in the winner’s enclosure. He just needs everything to drop right.

Our new recruits Greyed A and West Of The Edge have settled in well. Both are having a nice holiday and chilling out in the field. Six shares are left in Greyed A and five in West Of The Edge.
