We have a runner this afternoon at Newton Abbot, Included runs in the 4:45. We had a few other options for Included but the midlands area was hit by 3 inches of rain in the past 48 hours. This has resulted in soft ground at other racecourses. Newton Abbot missed the rain, so we run here as Included needs quick ground.

Included enjoys a big open galloping track so Newton Abbot might not suit, we’ll give it a go though as next race options aren’t for 20 days plus.

This is a competitive race despite the small field. Samson was impressive on stable debut, As You Like will strip fitter for his recent run and Royal Magic was going well when falling over C&D last time. Any of the five runners could take the spoils.

Enable was brilliant on Saturday, she was so tough in a race that didn’t go right for her. She’s top class and the best mare we’ve seen in my opinion.
