An excellent card at Ascot this afternoon, the King George at 3:35 is the highlight. The rain might hit Ascot and could change the ground. I've had a bet in one of the early races, touch wood the wet stuff holds off for the entire meeting.

New Science failed to give his running on soft ground in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. That effort can easily be forgiven. I'm told he did an excellent bit of work this week and pulled clear of a horse rated a good deal higher than him.

New Science is held in very high regard and expected to go very close. Priced at 15-8.

No real thoughts in the King George or elsewhere.
