The York Ebor Festival started yesterday and had some super racing on offer. Logician was very impressive and could develop into one of the best stayers with seen for some time. At just three years of age, he can only get better and must have a grand chance if running in the St Leger.

Japan & Crystal Ocean had ding dong battle in the Juddmonte, with Japan just getting his head in front where it matters. It was a great start to the meeting.

Today is all about Enable in the Yorkshire Oaks, I hope we see another class effort and she wins again

I’ve had a few pounds EW on Baltic Baron priced at 8-1 in the Clipper at 3:00. He’s knocking on the door in these big handicaps and looks sure to give it another good go.

We have runners at Stratford & Fontwell where Included and Black Anthem take their chance. Included runs in another competitive little race, she’s been brilliant for us and can hopefully run well again.

Black Anthem goes again quickly after winning at Newton Abbot last week. BA is due to go up 8lb, this is the last chance he’s got to run off his old rating. The run comes plenty quick enough, but we’ll give it a go.
