Ascot was brilliant yesterday, not just the racing but Frankie Dettori coming so close to a five timer. The bookies would have lost tens of millions if Turgenev didn’t get caught close home. It was fantastic watching the afternoon unfold.

Star Catcher was another nice 7-1 winner for us on here. Today, we could see some of the favourites take a bit of beating.

3:40 - Ten Sovereigns

4:20 - Hermosa

I wouldn’t put anybody off the above three horses, I think it could be a big day for Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien.

Elsewhere on the card, Daahyeh in the 2:30 is expected to run well. She's held in high regard, priced at 5-1 EW. I can’t decide between, Ben Vrackie & Fujaira Prince in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at 5:35. The horses are priced at 9-1 & 6-1 so it’s no bother backing both EW in such a race.
