We have our first runners for a week or so today, three in fact. Two on the level at Chelmsford and one over the jumps at Plumpton.

Competition and Sampers Seven head to Chelmsford. This will be both horses last run of the year. Each has had a good season and holidays are now on the horizon.

Both races look competitive, Competition hasn’t run on the surface before, but he’s versatile and will run his race. Sampers Seven meets the progressive Live In The Moment once again. The ground was against Sampers Seven at York, but she’s won at Chelmsford before. This is a very good race.

Stubborn Logic returns and makes his debut under the care of David Pipe. The horse has been off the racecourse a while and is bound to be fresh and keen. It’s a nice starting point for him.
