Broughtons Admiral ran a blinder at Carlisle on Monday. BA finished 2^nd a length or so behind the handicap good thing, Dorking Cock and 7 lengths clear of the 3^rd placed horse. This was the second race in a row Broughtons Admiral has ran into a horse with 10lbs plus in hand. It was a great run though, BA got his owners into the winner’s enclosure again and keeps picking up prize money.

We have a couple of runners today at Ludlow, Trigger Nichol in the feature race at 3:35 then Stung For Cash at 4:10.

Trigger Nichol won well at Leicester last time out, the handicapper put him up 13lb for the win so this will make things tougher. This is a nice race with good money on offer, it will take some winning as it should. Hopefully Trigger will run well.

Stung For Cash ran fine at Ayr on his previous start, our horse found the trip on she sharp side and the ground ended up good. The going will be on the lively side again today but we need to get more experience into Cash as he’s still quite raw. The extra distance will help but he’s one for the future over a fence. Champagne Well should take a bit of beating whilst Talktomenow could easily bounce back.
