Present Value winning on Wednesday on debut for his owners, us and Jamie Snowden was a very pleasing result. I love buying this type of horse, lost its way, given up on but had shown smart form a few years ago.

A lot of work had gone into Present Value, we have a very good record turning these types of horses around. It was a great team effort and gives everybody a huge buzz.

I’ve had a couple of bets today not the biggest of prices but touch wood both can run well.

Remastered would have gone very close in the Ladbroke Trophy a couple of weeks ago if not for falling when going better than anything at the business end. This race is nothing like as competitive and providing confidence is fine and horse is in the same form, Remastered can gain compensation. Priced at 5-2.

Over at Ascot, No Ordinary Joe looks well in off 136. He pulled his chance away in the Greatwood but still finished 3^rd and is weighted to reverse form with West Cork. If he settles, No Ordinary Joe should run very well in a competitive race. Priced around 4-1.
