We were really pleased with Aldrin's seasonal debut at Worcester on Monday. Aldrin finished 3rd in what was a decent little race. The run was Aldrin's best first time out effort for us, he normally doesn't run that great. David Pipe has done a super job with Aldrin. It's great to see the Pond House team is super form.

We head to the Newmarket sales today for a couple of days. Plenty of work has gone into the sale. I'm hoping we can secure one of the horses on our shortlist and complete our team for the winter.

There are two horses worth keeping an eye on today, Baasem 2:40 Lingfield and Cacophonous 7:45 Kempton.

Both have been in my notebook for a while, I'm confident we haven't seen the best of either and they will be winning soon if not today. The race Baasem is in, looks competative whilst Cacophonus has been wanting a step up in trip for ages and has that tonight. Prices are 11-4 & 11-2.
