I think we might have seen the King George winner yesterday in, Lostintranslation. The Colin Tizzard trained runner was super impressive and looks a Gold Cup horse in the making. I loved the way he went through the race and visually quickened when given an inch of rein. The step up in trip was ideal, I wouldn’t put anybody off backing him antepost for the King George and maybe even the Gold Cup. I believe he’s a class act.

Min was also excellent, ridden as he should have been at Cheltenham. Min jumped his rivals into the ground and won with any amount in hand. Two good winners for us priced at 7-2 & 100-30.

It’s been a good Aintree with four winners so far.

Today, I've had a nice bet on Apple’s Jade in the stayers at 3:40. Her effort in the Champion Hurdle can be ruled out. She clearly wasn’t right for whatever reason and doesn’t seem to like the racecourse. Work since, must have been good, Gordon Elliott wouldn’t bring her over if she had been flat etc. Priced at 2-1, Apple’s Jade could put these to the sword if bouncing back.

The Grand National is obviously the big race of the day at 5:15. I’ve gone with five against the field.

Walk In the Mill, Lake View Lad, Rathvinden, Tea For Two & Anibale Fly. All are good prices and look to have sound EW chances. Ensure you back with bookies paying six places.
