We start the week with a runner at Windsor and get our turf season under the way. Vocatus takes his chance in the 4:30.

Everything was firmly crossed for rain and a lot of it, sadly it's not arrived, and the going will be good. Vocatus is much happier on grass, especially when hoof deep in mud.

Vocatus has been on the go for a long time and a holiday is coming. We've held fire for a couple of runs on the grass in the hope we could find soft ground, but's it's not to be.

Our runner will have race fitness on his side, if it was bad ground we would have been hopeful of a big run but on decent going, all horses will likely handle it and that takes our advantage away. We'll give it a go and enjoy having runners at Windsor.
