It’s been a frustrating week, we had entries at Leicester, Plumpton and Chepstow but all three meetings were abandoned due to the weather. Thankfully we have jump racing taking place today at Sandown, it’s a decent fixture but nothing takes the eye.

Most eyes will be on Leopardstown over the weekend. The so called, Dublin Racing Festival takes place. The meeting is a like a mini Cheltenham with many of the top Irish horses running. Plenty of clues will come out of the meeting and maybe a few bubbles burst.

This evening, we have the Value Racing Club dinner and disco. 70 owners are coming to the event plus our trainers and jockeys. The evening is been held at a lovely venue, most owners are staying over so can have fun until the early hours. A quiz, raffle with some nice prizes and trainer and jockey interviews will take place. Look out for some pictures on social media.

The only horse I was interested in today was running at Lingfield in the 1:45. Kachy will bid to make all and will take some catching. I didn’t think he would be an even money shot though whilst stall 8 makes things more difficult. I think he’ll likely get away with it and win, but at the price I won’t be playing.
